Brittany Hagler is a licensed board-certified physician assistant. She received her undergraduate degree in both chemistry and physics from Union University and attended graduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to pursue a doctorate in chemistry. However, during this time, she discovered a calling for teaching and helping others and decided to take her skills of scientific thinking and research to pursue a career in medicine instead. She graduated from UIUC with a master’s degree in chemistry and then worked for a while as a medical assistant at an outpatient surgical clinic in Illinois while applying to PA schools. She was thrilled to be accepted to the PA program at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN as middle Tennessee is where she calls home. Through completing her classes and clinical rotations in PA school, she developed a passion for mental health care and treatment and knew psychiatry was where she belonged. After graduating from Trevecca in August of 2022, she accepted a position with River Region Psychiatry Associates to serve as a PA-C in psychiatry in Cleveland, TN.
In her free time, Brittany loves to explore bookstores and vinyl record shops. She especially loves fantasy novels and has quite the collection filling up her bookshelves at home. She also enjoys live music and frequently attends concerts with friends and family. Brittany is also a self-proclaimed cat lady and will happily show you hundreds of pictures of her two cats when asked.
