Doug Aitken is a native of southeast Kansas but has lived in Middle Tennessee for over 30 years. He received his Master of Science in Social Work from University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Doug enjoys being a social worker and therapist because, among other things, he likes helping people and is fascinated by human behavior.
Away from work, Doug is a musician who plays piano, keyboards and guitar. He also enjoys listening to music from his large collection of CD’s and LP’s. Doug is a big fan of college basketball and is always excited to watch his team, the Kansas Jayhawks, when they are playing on television. He is the father of two young men with whom he enjoys spending time when they are home from college.
